Kavi Membership extends your Kavi Workspace, adding powerful membership management features.
Kavi Membership automates and simplifies membership management, communication, billing, and online payments, reducing the time it takes to collect membership dues. It streamlines new member signup and increases renewal rates with automatic, timely reminders. It also enables you to structure and formalize membership-related business processes to ensure that they can be performed consistently, accurately, and efficiently by anyone on the staff.
Model Your Organization's Membership Structure
Each organization's membership structure is encoded in custom Membership Types with corresponding Company Types and User Types that serve to classify members, confer access to members-only areas, and define organizational roles. Each Membership Type can have its own duration, eligibility rules, benefits, application process, and fees.
Customize Membership Processes
The application process for new and renewing memberships may include billing and moderation steps or applications may be approved automatically. Company representative signup processes may include moderation and accepted email domain enforcement (verifying the employee's corporate email address at the member company). Application and signup processes may include a click-through agreement with the organization's terms and conditions. Organizations that handle the membership application process offline can add members to the database directly, bypassing the signup process.
Use Kavi Membership to enable:
- Online membership application - new members apply using an online form, and organization administrators are automatically notified.
- Online membership renewal - renewing members receive email notifications before membership expires, and can easily renew online.
- Membership fee collection - enable credit card payments online, and/or encourage members to send payments offline.
- Automated expiration and deactivation - set rules for expiring members who choose not to renew; Kavi Membership can deactivate members after a grace period.
Configure Access
Kavi Membership can be configured to manage access to protected areas and tools according to the organization's bylaws and operating procedures. Companies and users are assigned Membership Types according to the organization's membership structure, thus granting them the appropriate level of access. Company representatives inherit their access rights from their company. Deactivate companies and/or users when they leave the organization -- denying them access to members-only areas -- and reactive them when they return, immediately restoring their access to online workspaces, mailing lists, and the members-only area.
Enforce Rules and Agreements
Kavi Membership helps enforce important elements of the organizational bylaws, membership agreements, and intellectual property rights policies by encoding them into the technology infrastructure. This formalization helps avoid legal problems and increases the likelihood that audits will show compliance with rules and corporate laws.
Automate Signup, Renewal, and Billing
Member signup, renewal, and fee collection can be fully automated. Kavi Membership issues invoices and receipts for membership fees and can process credit card payments through secure payment gateways. Administrators can view outstanding invoices, record offline payments, and generate receipts. Members can view their membership bills, pay dues, and print receipts for their records.
